Coral Reef Snorkel Expedition
Published: June 18, 2026
About This Experience
Descend into a living cathedral of coral where parrotfish scrape algae, clownfish guard anemones, and sunlight fractures into turquoise shafts. This half-day snorkel expedition visits a protected marine reserve with visibility often exceeding 25 meters. Marine biologist guides brief you on reef etiquette—no touching, no standing—and identify species by name so you leave knowing more than “pretty blue fish.”
After a short boat ride from the harbor, you will visit two reef sites chosen daily for conditions: a shallow lagoon perfect for beginners and a outer wall where sea turtles and reef sharks occasionally glide past. Premium masks, fins, and snorkels are fitted on deck; flotation vests available for less confident swimmers. Between sites, fresh fruit and water are served aboard.
A portion of every ticket funds reef restoration and mooring buoy maintenance that prevents anchor damage. Ideal for families, couples, and anyone curious about marine ecology without scuba certification—though confident swimmers gain the most from the outer reef stop.

Reviews
Our guide named every fish we saw and explained how the reef recovers from bleaching—it transformed snorkeling from floating to learning. We spotted a sea turtle at the outer wall and the underwater photos they sent afterward were stunning. Gear fit perfectly and the boat crew kept everyone comfortable even when a few got seasick. Best marine day of our honeymoon.
